The Designer

To tell the full story of how I ended up here, I’d have to start from the very beginning.

To when I was the kid who never fit into one box, the one who wore white sparkly bell-bottoms to school. To growing up speaking two languages, embracing two cultures. To the walking juxtaposition I have always been — a musician, a writer, an athlete, a physicist, a neurodivergent. To constantly hearing that being unconventional doesn’t bring success, but doing as everyone before me did would.

These are the experiences that have shaped my very non-linear journey to becoming an agent of change. I founded ANYTHING BUT BASIC to empower others through radical authenticity and inspire badass founders and purpose-driven individuals to lean into what makes you unique. Because no one is you, and that’s your superpower.

At the heart of all my passions is storytelling, and as a designer and creative developer, I hope to help you tell yours.

As someone who left the constant intensity of academia to live life on my own terms, I get that life isn’t always linear and that your energy is a precious commodity. Between combining my creative and technical expertise and structuring my collaborative partnerships around asynchronous communication, I’m not afraid to challenge norms and make a bold statement in the creative world. I believe that inspiration can’t be scheduled and I’m all for making time to pursue your dreams in whatever way you can. Sound like your vibe?

VIP DAY PASS

Short and spicy, Design Days are perfect for new brands or go-getters who need help tackling smaller design tasks. These collaborative half or full days bring your bold visions to life, all while giving you the time and energy to focus on what you do best.
